Tusker Oktobafest Docks in Mombasa Marking Mashujaa Day Celebration
Tusker Oktobafest took its vibrant nationwide showcase of Kenyan beer, music, and urban culture to the Coast this past weekend, delivering the perfect sherehe to usher in Mashujaa Day.
Held at the Al Capone Lounge in Nyali, the Monday 19th sherehe was headlined by Coastal sensation Masauti alongside the dynamic duo of MC Gogo and DJ Daffy. Taking to the stage at midnight, the duo unleashed an uninterrupted, high-octane two-hour set that kept the crowd on their feet before Masauti took over and closed the night with a thrilling catalogue of fan favorites among them TikTok’s recent trend “ipepete”
The Mombasa edition witnessed an overwhelming turnout at the Al Capone Lounge, in Nyali, reinforcing the festival’s reputation as a premier platform for authentic homegrown talent and beer culture. Mombasa revellers lived up to the hype, maintaining fever-pitch energy and keeping the party going well past sunrise.
