Sofapaka Give Nairobi United a Rude Premier League Welcome

Fresh from their CAF Confederation Cup adventure, the triumphant Nairobi United got a rude welcome to the local scene by being thrashed 3-0 to Sofapaka FC in a one-sided FKF SportPesa League fixture staged at Dandora Stadium on Saturday, November1, 2025. The final whistle brought visible relief for Sofapaka coach Ezekiel Akwana, whose side now climbs to sixth on the log with eight points from six matches, a result that also eases the pressure after a mixed start to the campaign. For Nairobi United the team remains 13th with six points, but will take solace in having two games in hand to make amends.
