Tanzanian singer Zuhura Othman, alias Zuchu, has shared her thoughts on an extravagant gift she recently received from her hubby, singer Diamond Platnumz, revealing that she might have preferred cash over the luxury item. Speaking shortly after headlining the GaraBallantines dinner held in Milimani City on Saturday, February 14, 2026, Zuchu revealed that the handbag, valued at approximately Tsh21 million (approximately Ksh1.05 million), was a generous gesture from Diamond. While she appreciated the sentiment, she admitted that the gift was not something she personally needed. “To be honest, if I knew Diamond was buying me that bag, I would have asked him to give me cash instead of splashing all that on the bag, because I would not have wanted the bag,” she explained.
