The prestigious Glam Hotel has opened a new rooftop restaurant and bar in Westlands, adding to the city’s growing list of luxury dining and entertainment spots.
Sitting on the 10th-floor, located along General Mathenge Road, the new kid in town was launched on Friday, November 7 night in a lively event attended by business leaders, influencers, and hospitality enthusiasts.
The colourful event featured live music, DJ sets, and performances by drummers and dancers.
“This rooftop is more than a venue — it’s an experience,” said Ashish Sharma, CEO of Thrive Hospitality, the group that owns Glam Hotel.
“We wanted a space that reflects Nairobi’s character — vibrant, diverse, and full of life.”
Guests enjoyed a range of continental dishes and cocktails as the city’s skyline provided a striking backdrop.
The joint will host up to 200 guests for sundowners, private events, and casual dining.
Sanjay Shah, the hotel’s director said the aim was to “create a space that blends good food with Nairobi’s social energy — where every evening feels like a celebration.”
The night ended with a toast overlooking the city, marking what the hotel hopes will become one of Westlands’ most popular rooftop spots.
