Kariobangi North ward Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party candidate for the upcoming by elections Michael Ouma Majua visited the burial site of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga to pay his respect to the late ODM leader who passed on last week and buried on Sunday at Kang'o Ka Jaramogi in Bondo, Siaya County. A deeply moving and somber moment at Kang'o Ka Jaramogi. Majua stood at the final rest of the ODM leader, Raila Amolo Odinga. "It’s hard to articulate the feeling—the immense silence and the echoes of a lifelong struggle for a better Kenya. His entire being was dedicated to the people. You can't help but feel inspired and challenged to step up and honor the path he paved. Rest well, Jakom," Majua said in his moving tribute to Odinga. "Your work continues through the millions you inspired. May God give strength to Mama Ida, the family, and all of us who mourn this giant," Majua continued. Majua noted that the ODM party, which the late Raila Odinga led stands for values and change to the nations good governance and urged the country to emulate Raila in the pursuit of good governance and a just society. Majua is running for the Kariobangi North ward seat in the election slated to be held on 27th November, 2025 having won the party primaries to clinch the party ticket. The by election was occasioned by the death of the former MCA Joel Munuve. Majua has launched his campaign on an agenda of equitable opportunities for the people of Kariobangi North.
