Kenyan Tech Firm Launches Platform to Help Businesses Manage Teams Across Africa
Nairobi, Kenya: Thursday 10 th September, 2026 – ASK Tech Ventures has launched ODIGO CMS - a field execution and activation management platform - in Africa to help businesses operating across the continent to maintain visibility and control of dispersed operations.
As African businesses expand across countries, having a single digital platform to manage, verify and measure activity across dispersed teams and locations has emerged as a major challenge. To close that gap, ODIGO CMS will connect managers with sales teams, activation teams, promoters, merchandisers, field agents and other distributed operations through a single, secure digital platform.
The move comes as African businesses become more dependent on digital technology to manage growth. Mobile technologies contributed $240 billion to Africa’s economy in 2025, equivalent to 7.8% of GDP, according to the GSMA, while Kenya's information and communication sector grew by 4.8% in 2025, according to the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics.
Yet the digital transformation of businesses remains uneven. World Bank research shows that while digital technology is associated with higher
productivity, sales and employment, African firms continue to lag their peers in the intensity with which they use digital tools for business operations.
ODIGO CMS is designed to address one part of that gap: execution.
“As businesses scale, the distance between the person making the decision and the person executing it becomes a real management challenge,” noted Vikas Mehta, Founder and CEO, ASK Tech Ventures while announcing the rollout.
For a company managing hundreds of sales representatives, thousands of retail outlets or a network of promoters across several cities, knowing what was done, where it was done, when it was done and whether it met the required standard is a big challenge.
“We are bringing ODIGO to Africa because we see a very practical opportunity to give businesses greater visibility and control over that last mile of execution. The objective is simple: help management move from assumptions and fragmented reports to better information and better decisions,” added Vikas.
Developed by TalentBridge Technologies and already deployed successfully across markets in South and Southeast Asia, ODIGO CMS brings planning, workforce management, field activity, evidence and reporting into one system.
“TalentBridge is committed to taking ODIGO beyond the markets where it was first developed and building a truly global platform,” said Gaurav Shukla, Founder, TalentBridge Technologies. “We have worked with the team at ASK to make sure the platform is ready for Africa and are excited about its potential. Africa represents an important next chapter for ODIGO, and ASK is the right partner to help us realise that opportunity.”
The platform can be used across sales and distribution, retail execution, brand activations, merchandising, field research, audits and other operations where teams work across multiple locations.
As African companies build complex operations in multiple jurisdictions, this platform will give them a central view of what is happening across the field, rather than relying on fragmented updates from multiple teams and partners.
“Africa 's businesses are scaling, and scale creates complexity,” Vikas added. “The opportunity is to use technology to make that complexity more manageable, to give leaders a clearer picture of what is happening across their operations and enable them to act on it faster.”
ASK Tech Ventures and TalentBridge Technologies will initially focus on businesses with significant field operations, while working with local businesses and partners to adapt ODIGO to the needs of African markets.
