Bandari win first league fixture, three days after sacking head coach
The 2023 Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Cup champions Kakamega Homeboyz and the coast based Bandari FC registered their first wins of the 2025/26 season as the SportPesa league entered day three on Saturday, October 4 2025. The victory lifted Bandari to fifth place on the 18-team standings with four points, while Murang’a Seal slipped to 11th with three points. Homeboyz netted an early goal scored the in the 4th minute through Josephat Lopaga’ stemming from a John “Buba” Omondi long pass.
