Global superstars and long-time collaborators: Yemi Alade and Kenya’s international hitmaker Bien, have released the music video of “Don’t Be Shy” – what may be one of their best collaborations yet. The irresistible video released via Effyzzie Music, serves as the first taste of Yemi Alade’s forthcoming self-titled album, IT’S YEMI ALADE, set for release this year. Stream the single here.
The music video for “Don’t Be Shy,” directed by acclaimed director Ovie, was shot in Nairobi, Kenya, and radiates Yemi Alade and Bien’s undeniable chemistry and energy from start to finish. The pair playfully dance around each other, echoing the song’s flirtatious message: “Don’t be shy.” Set within a stylish, warmly lit indoor space, the visuals strike the perfect balance between sultry and playful. The sleek cinematography and captivating performances beautifully complement the track’s sensual blend of Afro-R&B and Kompa, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the rhythm, embrace the chemistry and live fully in the moment without hesitation.
